Next Level Leaders of Stark County

The Next Level Leaders of Stark County is a membership organization of individuals interested in professional growth in leadership. As a member, individuals can participate in 3 components of the program: Mentoring (matched with Leadership Stark County alum), Mastermind Sessions, and Executive Breakfast Conversations.

  • Individual membership fee for young professional = $225 per year
  • Limit of members for first year = 50 people
  • Limit of members representing an organization = 3 people

3 Components:

Mentoring:
Members to be matched on a 1 to 1 ratio with graduates of Leadership Stark County’s Signature program. Mentor/mentee will meet quarterly in person for an hour minimum (4 times a year).
 
Mastermind Sessions:
Members can choose 2 mastermind sessions per year. These sessions are small group, peer-to-peer, solution-focused discussions designed to foster collaboration, a cohort mindset, and both professional and personal growth. Mastermind groups will be organized by topic and level of experience. Below are sample discussion prompts, members will be surveyed prior to group meeting.
Level 1: How to get your leadership voice, How to communicate more effectively, What are best practices in the office, How to hone your management style, How to talk to my boss about difficult conversations, How to navigate conflict with coworkers, How to have work life balance and boundaries
 
Level 2: How to position myself for future opportunities, How to manage direct reports, How to create a positive culture on your team, How to build relationships within my organization and community, How to talk to my boss or board about difficult conversations, How to self reflect and ask for feedback, How to be an active listener
 
Level 3: Where do I go from here, How do I hire, vet and onboard personnel that positively impacts the company culture, How do I help develop others to leadership roles, How to identify the future leaders for your organization, How can I better network and build strong relationships with the community, How do I build relationships and fundraise, How to talk to my boss or board about difficult conversations, How to analyze the data and make the call

Executive Breakfast Conversations:

Members can choose 4 sessions annually. Executive Breakfast Conversations were designed to create meaningful, small-group conversations that allow young professionals to learn from the career experiences, expertise, and hindsight of seasoned executives — helping them fast-track their growth. These take place between 8:00-9:30 AM during the weekdays. Uniquely, this atmosphere will promote a dialog between participants and executives. A light breakfast will be provided.

Executive Breakfast hosts include: Anne Richards, Chris Goff, Joe Schauer, Kyle Stone, Lisa Zellers, Marisa Rohn, and Ralph Lee.
