Position Summary:
The Executive Director provides professional and administrative leadership for the YWCA Alliance, dedicated to its mission:
YWCA Alliance is committed to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.
The Executive Director is responsible for overall leadership, organizational management, personnel management, community and stakeholder partnership development, and working with the YWCA Board of Directors to offer strategic direction and vision for the Association.
Must-Have's
- Community-Centered Leadership: Proven ability to build trust and elevate visibility through authentic community engagement, partnerships, and strategic marketing
- Strong Operational and Financial Oversight: Proven experience managing nonprofit operations and finances — including budgeting, audits, and grant management with a track record of securing and stewarding funding to sustain mission impact
- Collaborative, Transparent Management Style: Open, communicative leader who builds alignment with board and staff through clarity, accountability, and consistent follow-through
- Board and Team Development: Skilled at mentoring and engaging a multigenerational board; experienced in strengthening staff culture, clarifying roles, and fostering inclusion and respect
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to set clear 30/60/90-day and first-year priorities grounded in data, community needs, and YWCA’s mission — balancing day-to-day operations with long-term strategic goals
- Mission-Driven and Culturally Competent: Deep commitment to social justice and women’s empowerment, with sensitivity to Alliance’s economic and social realities and the ability to connect authentically with all constituents

Salary Range or Hourly Rate
$55K/yr - $60K/yr
