Light after Loss is a trauma focused support system for survivors of suicide loss providing hope for healing through education, resources, and support services surrounding the grief and trauma of losing someone to suicide.
In Spring of 2022, we are excited to be growing and expanding our services with the addition of The Hope and Healing Center (HHC). The HHC is a grief and traumatic loss center creating community through compassionate care for Stark and surrounding counties. Lighting the path and planting seeds of hope 🌻 for all those sitting in darkness and in the shadow of death.
We are looking for General Board members with Board experience and specific skill sets, but everyone is encouraged to apply. People who are also willing to be on one of our Board Committees are priority - Human Resources, Physician/NP/PA, Attorney, especially familiar with mental health field.
We meet the 2nd Monday of each month. 6-7pm is the Board Meeting. 7-8pm are the Committee Meetings. We meet in person at The Hope and Healing Center. 3751 Burrshire Dr. NW, Canton, Ohio 44709. Virtual is an option upon request. The fundraising committee also meet outside of those days/times as needed as big events approach.
